Corner

Well, here we are — a brand new year. And honestly? This feels like a good time to catch you up on what's been happening around here.

First things first: Scott has retired. After 13 years of helping me build Shared Knowledge and taking care of so many of you, he's officially hanging up the toolkit to spend time with his grandson. Scott, if you're reading this — thank you for everything. Now go enjoy yourself. You've earned it.

So what does Shared Knowledge look like without Scott? Honestly, it's been a year of reinvention. I've brought in smarter tools that let me catch problems before they catch you. That's opened the door to new service options like subscriptions — kind of like having a tech guy on retainer without the retainer price tag.

Password Refresh Month

🔐

New year, fresh start — and that includes your passwords. Pick your three most important accounts (email, bank, and one other) and update them this week.

Try a passphrase instead: "MyDogLoves2Bark!" is way stronger than "Fluffy123" and easier to remember.

🎓 Want the full walkthrough? Check out our Password Security 101 Microcourse — takes about 15 minutes.
